About
If you want to bring some sophistication to your brunch, then Crepes Suzette are the perfect mixture of light textures and deep flavours.A rich orange liqueur sauce is folded in and poured over a delightfully classic crepe recipe, then finished with a generous drizzle of Lyle’s Golden Syrup. This is the kind of crepe that will make quite the impression!

In a large bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the eggs, milk, and melted butter. Whisk everything together until the batter is smooth. Set the bowl aside.
Peel the oranges and chop them into small pieces, making sure to save the juice.
In a saucepan, heat the sugar over medium heat until it caramelizes. Be careful not to burn it. Add the Grand Marnier, avoiding any flame, and stir in the orange juice that was saved earlier. Remove the pan from the heat and carefully add the orange slices and zest to coat them in the sauce.
Heat a non-stick pan and add butter, allowing it to melt. Pour a small amount of batter into the pan, swirling it around to evenly coat the entire surface. Cook until the crepe becomes golden brown underneath, then flip it over to cook the other side. Once both sides are a nice golden brown, remove the crepe from the pan and place it on a plate. Repeat this process with the remaining batter.
Take the orange sauce and drizzle it evenly over the crepes.
Serve and enjoy your delicious crepes Suzette with Lyle’s Golden Syrup
