Absolutely Golden Croissant Bake

This recipe is a bread and butter meets French Toast style Croissant breakfast of dreams, with Lyle’s Golden Syrup.

8 croissants 

6 eggs

1 pink of milk 

2 tsp vanilla extract 

4 tbsp Lyles Golden Syrup

Pinch of salt 



Pecan nuts


  1. Combine the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, pinch of salt & Lyles Golden Syrup in a bowl & whisk.
  2. Soak the croissants in the mix and add to a greased oven-proof dish, pour the remaining mixture over the croissants. Top with strawberries & cook for 30 minutes in the oven at 190C.
  3. When it’s out of the oven, add strawberries, pecan nuts & drizzle some more Lyles Golden Syrup.
