What you’ll need:

• Empty Lyle’s tins
• Hammer and nail
• Soil
• Seeds

How to do it:

1. Wash your tin with warm, soapy water (not suitable for the dishwasher), then dry it thoroughly.

2. Use a hammer and nail to carefully create a drainage hole in the bottom of your tin. This prevents water pooling and keeps your plant roots healthy.

3. Fill your tin with soil, plant your seeds, and give them a little water.

4. Place the tin in a sunny spot and watch your mini garden grow.
