Invite feathered friends into your garden with this simple upcycling idea.
What you’ll need:
• Empty Lyle’s tins
• Hammer and nail
• String
• Bird seed
How to make it:
1. Wash your tin with warm, soapy water (not suitable for the dishwasher), then dry it thoroughly.
2. Use a hammer and nail to punch two holes in opposite sides of the tin, near the top.
3. Thread a piece of string through the holes and tie knots to secure it, creating a hanging loop.
4. Pour the bird seed into your tin, hang it up outside, and watch the birds flock to your garden.
