User Generated Content Terms

T&L Sugars Limited (TLS) is the owner of Lyle’s Golden Syrup, one of the UK’s oldest brands.

TLS loves seeing members of the public, like yourself, creating amazing content on social media showcasing our products.  Sometimes this content is so good TLS wants to feature it on its social channels or in other various promotional materials. From time to time, TLS reaches out to users who have created amazing content to seek their permission to use it. And that’s why you have heard from us and why you are reading these terms – we think your content looks lovely and really delicious and we’d love to use it.

If you choose to allow us to use your social media content (“User Content”) by replying to our request with the hashtag “SharewithLyles” you agree to these Terms of Use.

USER CONTENT LICENSE

You hereby grant to TLS a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully-paid, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable right to use your User Content in any manner to be determined in TLS’ sole discretion, including (but not limited to) webpages and social media pages operated by TLS, in promotion emails and advertisements, and in any and all other marketing, promotional and advertising initiatives, and in any media now or hereafter known. TLS may use, display, reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, combine with other materials, alter and/or edit your User Content in any manner in their sole discretion, and with no obligation to you whatsoever.

You grant TLS the right to use your username, real name, image, likeness, descriptions of you, location or other identifying information but not limited to your voice, in connection with and use of your User Content.

You hereby agree and represent and warrant that (i) you are solely responsible for your User Content, (ii) own all rights in and to your User Content and/or have obtained the appropriate rights and permission from any and all other persons and/or entities who own, manage or otherwise claim any rights with respect to such User Content, (iii) you are not a minor; (iv) TLS’ use of your User Content as described herein will not violate the rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, moral, proprietary or other rights, of any third party, or any law, rule or regulation, and (v) the User Content is not libellous defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, indecent, threatening, harassing, hateful, or offensive or otherwise unlawful.

TLS reserves the right to alter these Terms of Use without advance notice by posting a revised Terms of Use. Accordingly, you should review the Terms of Use each time you grant us permission or authorising to feature your User Content.

You understand that, under no circumstances will we be liable in any way for any UGC, including, without limitation, for any errors or omissions in any UGC, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred by you as a result of the use of any UGC transmitted, uploaded, posted, e-mailed or otherwise made available via the Site.
