45ml/3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 2-3tsp Lyle's Golden Syrup salt and freshly ground black pepper 5-10ml/1-2 tsp freshly chopped herbs 4 lean lamb cutlets, trimmed

Instructions Preheat the oven to 200°/400°F/Gas Mark 6
1. In a non-metallic bowl mix together the Worcestershire sauce, syrup, seasoning and herbs. Add the lamb cutlets and toss in the sauce. Cover with cling film and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
2. Place lamb cutlets in oven proof dish and cook in oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
3. Serve with baby jacket potatoes, grilled cherry tomatoes, and garnish with a sprig of parsley. The tomatoes should be prepared under adult supervision: Brush with a little oil and sprinkle with a tiny amount of sugar. Then grill for 3 minutes under a medium heat and season with salt and pepper. |
