Lyles Golden Syrup - 5 or 6 tablespoons
White Breadcrumbs - 2oz
Rind of 1 lemon (Finley Grated)
Short Crust Pastry - 5oz |

Instructions 1) Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F
2) Put Lyles Golden Syrup into a saucepan with breadcrumbs, lemon rind and juice, heat gently until melted,
3) Roll out the ready-made short crust pastry evenly, enough to line an 8 inch circular tin with a little extra,
4) Pour in syrup mixture,
5) Cut off pastry trimming that hand over the outside of the tray, lay these in a lattice pattern across the syrup mixture,
6) Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes,
7) Serve hot or cold,
8) ENJOY!
