Sesame Butter - 100g
Lyles Golden Syrup - 100g
Lemon Juice and rind from 1lemon
Figs - 100g
Deseeded Dates - 100g
Candied Orange Peel - 50g
Candied Lemon Peel -50g
Sesame Seeds - 100g
Ground Almonds - 100g
Ground Ginger - 1 heaped teaspoon
Wholemeal Wafers - number of cookies going to be made

Instructions 1) Warm the sesame butter, Lyles Golden Syrup, lemon juice and rind gently,
2) Mince the figs, dates, candied orange and lemon peel,
3) Stir in the sesame seeds, almonds, ginger and the minced figs, dates and candied peels into the sesame butter and syrup mixture,
4) Spread the mixture out ˝ cm deep on an oiled foil, cut out shapes of your choice,
5) Place the cookies on wafers and decorate,
6) Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 18 minutes.
