Margarine - 40oz
Light Brown Sugar - 4oz
Eggs - 2
Self Raising Flour - 6oz
Coffee Powder - 1 level teaspoon
Milk - 2 level teaspoons
Lyles Golden Syrup - 2 level teaspoons

Instructions 1) Preheat oven to 150°C,
2) Grease two seven inch sponge tins,
3) Whisk all ingredients together in one bowl until the mixture is completely blended,
4) Divide the mixture into the two tins evenly,
5) Place in the oven and bake at 150°C until the cake rises and browns, it should be springy to the touch,
6) Cut into slices and ENJOY! |
